Hayley will race in the Gold Coast Cup this Saturday the 17th April. The 43km Outrigger Race will head south from Greenmount, Queensland and turn just North of Cook Island. The canoes will then head towards Gold Coast Seaway where teams will finish at the Spit. This will be Hayley’s first time in an outrigger race.

Now that Hayley has a few weeks off training she is looking forward to teaching the younger kids some of her surf skills before their state titles next weekend. Hayley will be coaching the nippers at Kurrawa on the 10th April, and Sunday will be presenting the Kurrawa nippers with their State uniforms.

Hayley was a suprise guest coach for the High Youth Performance (HYP) Squad yesterday. They had their last hard hit out before the nipper state titles next weekend. Hayley wishes them all good luck in their competition.
